For nearly four decades, Patrick Malone has represented seriously injured people in lawsuits against wrongdoers. Malone frequently teaches trial lawyers and has written several leading advocacy books: "The Fearless Cross-Examiner," "Winning Medical Malpractice Cases with the Rules of the Road Technique" and (co-author) "Rules of the Road: A Plaintiff Lawyer’s Guide to Proving Liability," all published by Trial Guides. Malone was an award-winning investigative journalist before attending Yale Law School. He is principal of the firm Patrick Malone & Associates, PC, in Washington, DC. He is a member of several prestigious invitation-only societies of trial attorneys, including the Inner Circle of Advocates and the International Academy of Trial Lawyers. He was President of the Roscoe Pound Institute in 2018–2019. He is recognized by "Super Lawyers" as one of the top 100 lawyers in Washington, DC.
